China Blocks Access to OnlyFans

Access to OnlyFans is blocked in mainland China as part of the country’s broader internet censorship policies.
China strictly regulates online content and prohibits pornography under national law. Because OnlyFans is primarily known for adult content, the platform was never officially launched or approved for use in mainland China. As a result, access to the site is restricted through the country’s internet filtering system, often referred to as the “Great Firewall.”
While some users previously attempted to access OnlyFans using VPNs, enforcement around VPN usage has increased in recent years, making access increasingly difficult and unreliable.
The restriction of OnlyFans aligns with China’s long-standing approach to controlling foreign platforms and online content that does not comply with local regulations. Many other international services and websites are similarly blocked or limited within the country.
This situation highlights the continued differences in internet access and digital policy between China and other regions around the world.
