Points Terms

How iSocialize activity points work, in plain language.

Last updated 24 October 2026

Draft — under legal review. If anything here differs from the law where you live, the law wins.

Key points

  • You earn points for taking part: posting, selling, getting likes from members, checking in.
  • Points have no cash value. Cashing out, buying and sending points are paused during the beta.
  • Points belong to your account and can't be sold or moved to another account.
  • Each way to earn has a cap. Bots, staff accounts and abuse don't earn.
  • We take points back when the thing that earned them is deleted, refunded or found to be abuse.
  • We tell you before we make a change that takes something away from you.

1. What points are

Activity points are a reward for using iSocialize. They are added to your account automatically when you do the things listed on How to earn, at the values shown there for your account type.

Points earned by activity are free: you never pay for them. If we sell point packages in the future, those will be "purchased points" and these terms will say how they differ.

2. No cash value

Points are not money, a deposit or a security. They have no cash value and can't be exchanged for cash, goods or services except through a program we offer on iSocialize.

Converting points into E-Wallet balance is paused during the beta. If we turn it on again, the rate, fee, minimum and who can use it will be shown before you ask, and each request is reviewed. We can refuse or reverse a conversion of points that were earned against these terms.

3. Your points stay with your account

Points can't be sold, bought, traded, inherited or moved to another account. The one exception is "Send points", when it is switched on: you can gift points to someone you know, within the limits shown when you send.

Selling or buying points, accounts or likes outside iSocialize breaks these terms.

4. Earning, caps and levels

Each way to earn pays a set number of points, up to a cap over a period (for example up to 20 points a day). The page How to earn shows your caps and how much of each you have used.

Likes earn only when they come from a real member, not from you, a bot or a staff account. Check-ins count once per day (UTC); a run of 7 days in a row pays a bonus.

Your level (Bronze, Silver, Gold) is based on the points you earned from activity in the last 90 days. Gifts, staff grants and purchases don't count. Levels can come with perks such as a profile badge or early access; perks can change.

Staff and automated (bot) accounts don't earn points.

5. Expiry

Points don't expire today.

We plan to let earned points expire after 12 months in which an account neither signs in nor earns points. This only starts after we announce it with at least 30 days' notice, and we'll remind you before any of your points expire. Points in a request we are reviewing never expire.

6. Abuse and taking points back

When the thing that earned points is deleted, removed for breaking the rules, unliked or refunded, its points are taken back.

We can take back points, cancel conversions, lower a level or suspend earning for an account that games the system: fake or duplicate accounts, bots, like or follow rings, self-dealing sales, exploiting a bug, or buying and selling points. Points of an account closed or banned for breaking the rules are forfeited.

Our staff can add or remove points by hand, for example for a contest prize or to fix a mistake. Every change is recorded with a reason.

7. Changes

We can change how many points an action pays, the caps and the ways to earn at any time; changes apply to activity from then on and How to earn always shows the current values.

We'll give at least 30 days' notice before a change to these terms that takes something away from you, and at least 60 days' notice before ending the points program.

8. Taxes

If you ever receive something of value for points (for example through a conversion), you are responsible for any tax on it. We may ask for tax information before paying out, where the law requires it.

9. Purchased points and refunds

Point packages are not on sale during the beta. If we sell them again: purchased points can't be refunded once used, and unused purchased points are refunded only where the law requires it (for example if we end the program). Purchased points can't be converted into cash.

10. For members in Japan

Free points earned by activity are a reward, not a prepaid payment instrument. If we sell points for money, those purchased points may be treated as a prepaid payment instrument under Japan's Payment Services Act (資金決済法). Before we sell them we will publish the details that law requires (issuer, amount, period of use, contact, and how refunds work) and meet its rules, including on refunds.

Points given in connection with purchases follow the limits of the Act against Unjustifiable Premiums (景品表示法).

11. Questions

Contact us from the Help page. These terms sit alongside the iSocialize Terms of Service; if they conflict on points, these terms apply.
