Apple is gearing up to release the iPad mini 7, expected to debut in November 2024. This update comes three years after the previous model, with some exciting improvements in store.
The most notable upgrade is an improved display that addresses the \"jelly scrolling\" issue—where part of the screen refreshes slower than the other half. While the display will still be a 60Hz LCD, the new assembly method should reduce the problem.
The iPad mini 7 is also set for a performance boost.
Though it's unclear whether it will get the A17 Pro chip or the A18 chip from the iPhone 16, the new processor will significantly improve speed and power efficiency. Other upgrades include support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, ensuring faster and more stable connectivity.
On the design front, the new iPad mini will come in fresh colors and potentially feature an upgraded camera. The exact details of the camera improvements are still unknown, but Apple enthusiasts are excited for the possible enhancements.
Apple plans to announce the iPad mini 7 near the end of October, with a release date slated for November 1, 2024.
